Giving Buildings New Life

Adaptive reuse of historic buildings is much more than preservation or restoration. At IDP, we believe that adaptive reuse gives buildings new life and meets the needs of contemporary users. We repurpose historic buildings for retail, office, apartments, and other commercial uses.

We are experienced in obtaining both federal and state incentives and understand the process it takes to repurpose historic structures in a way that is financially feasible, while also meeting the demands of modern-day users.

Hotel 45

The development converted the historic office tower into a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel featuring 94 guest rooms, 3 food & beverage outlets, and a rooftop bar. Hotel 45 is currently the only hotel located in downtown Macon and is the only boutique hotel in the area.
